Amy Eisenstein Joins The Retirement Research Foundation as Program Officer

The Retirement Research (RRF) is pleased to welcome Amy R. Eisenstein, PhD., to its team.  Amy comes to RRF from the Leonard Schanfield Research Institute of CJE SeniorLife where she served as Director of Research and Continuous Quality Improvement for the past four years.  She is an Ambassador for the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute and serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine.

Amy has worked in the field of aging for nearly 20 years.  Her research has focused on issues related to aging, health, and disease, with an emphasis on measuring patient-reported outcomes associated with long-term care and community-based living.  Highly-respected by colleagues in the field, Amy is a Fellow of The Gerontological Society of America, the nation’s largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to aging research, education, and practice.

Amy received her doctorate from the University of Illinois at Chicago, School of Public Health.  She earned a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Southern California, Davis School of Gerontology and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana University.
