Accessible Faith Grant Program
For more than a decade, The Retirement Research Foundation partnered with houses of worship through its Accessible Faith Grant Program to remove physical barriers to accessibility and further their social justice efforts.
Although the Foundation formally closed the program as a special initiative at the end of 2015, limited opportunities for funding accessibility improvements may be available to Chicago area houses of worship that are located in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, or McHenry counties in Illinois.
If you are interested in learning more about these opportunities, please use the page link presented below that is entitled, For Accessible Faith Grant Seekers - General Information.
In addition, funders and others interested in ways to improve physical accessibility in their areas may find helpful the information presented below about tools for funders to replicate the Accessible Faith Program and the Accessible Faith Program resource links.
